WWE Fatheads - Smackdown on your wall

Flashback to last month's TNA Hard Justice Pay Per View and the Internet wrestling community was abuzz, because of the arrest and charges leveled against TNA champion Kurt Angle.

Many, including myself, thought that TNA would take the belt off the Olympic hero due to the ongoing investigations. I won't lie, I was all for Angle losing the belt as well.

Why?
Because I am tired of seeing mega stars run roughshod through their companies without any sort of consequences. Have him drop the belt at HJ and after the court hearings he can get back in the title hunt, if found innocent.

Well, TNA stuck by its man, and all charges have reportedly been dismissed.

Last month, Angle, 40, was arrested after his then-girlfriend Trenesha Biggers (TNA's Rhaka Khan), 26, filed a protection from abuse (PFA) order against the 1996 gold medalist. Police arrived at Angle's Moon Township home in Pittsburgh and removed him from his own residence.

If we remember back, Biggers claimed that Angle was stalking and harassing her by circling the parking lot in a plaza while Biggers took refuge in a Starbucks shop.

After being released on bond, Angle was quite emotional as he broke down several times while talking to reporters and radio personalities. Today was no different, as Angle grew emotional yet again. (Click here to see video of Angle after hearing.)

The judge dismissed the harassment charges, the driving with a suspended license charge, and with the drug possession charge from the two vials of HGH found in Angle's vehicle at the time of the arrest.

Breaking News: Kurt Angle Sees Harassment, And Other Charges Dismissed

Biggers did not comment after the procedures.

Angle, though, spoke with the media afterward and had this to say:

"I'll just move on and close the door behind me and open the door in front of me and keep pushing forward, but it's been really hard.

For eight months, I've been trying to get out her out of my house. Thank God. This is the way it had to happen, but I'm just glad it has."

He also said: "I will continue to live my life by the law, as I've always done, and try to be a role model in this community, and that's all I've ever asked for."

Congratulations to Angle getting these issues cleared. There will be another hearing in October dealing with the PFA order and simple assault charge.

It seems, in this case, we truly are innocent until proven guilty. Hopefully, we won't have to see Angle in the news again once the hearings conclude next month.
