Jim Cornette Goes to ROH
by: Daris Brown
Less than a week after Jim Cornette was released from TNA for "not being behind the current direction" Cornette landed in a new home.
No, not the WWE. He's been opposed going there ever since he literally laid the smackdown on Santino Marella. No the home I'm talking about is Ring of Honor.
It is announced at ROH's show in New York that Jim Cornette is the new Executive Producer of ROH on HDNet. Which led to him being immediately be called out by ROH's world champion Austin Aries.
Monday's night just got interesting again, as Jim has never been shy on telling people how he feels. Don't believe me? Google his rant on a poor Dairy Queen employee.
There has always been controversary surrowding the man who's said to have one of the greatest minds of the business.
The latest being, he flipped out on Vince Russo for wanting to push Eric Young. Jim Cornette heavily denies the rant ever occured, even accusing TNA of leaking that story to the equally controversal UK Sun.

Soon after his TNA release, Cornette put a statement on his Facebook page that read, "Thanks everyone for your kind words but, we are REALLY OK about all of this. Gives us more time to make QUALITY products for Cornette’s Collectibles and devote our time to wrestling we actually enjoy being a part of." Which had me thinking he was already in talks with someone else. Now we know that someone was Ring of Honor.
Now all that's left is his official Monday Night ROH on HDNet debut. Expect fireworks to fly as Cornette looks to once again to solidify his spot in wrestling history. Is he only to be an on air talent? Or will he lend his mind to help get ROH over the hump? I guess you'll have to wait and see.
